Preserves, Since 1987
A taste almost
indistinguishable*
from the real thing.
For nearly four decades, Almost Fruit has made preserves that capture, as closely as we are able, the character of the fruit that inspires them. Our jars are small, our recipes are old, and our intentions are unreservedly honest.
*Results may vary. Taste is subjective. Not a medical claim. Almost Fruit is not responsible for pairings attempted after 11 p.m.
The collection
Eight varieties, made slowly.
Each preserve is composed from a dedicated recipe, refined over years, and produced in modest batches in our Connecticut kitchen.
A household favorite
Almost Strawberry.
Our most-loved preserve. Open and sun-warmed, with a confident sweetness and a color that has been known to confuse pastry chefs. Thirty-nine years in the jar, and still improving.
From our kitchen
Classic Thumbprint Cookies
Tender shortbread with a jewel of Almost Raspberry at the center. A tin of these keeps for a week, though we suspect it never will.
