A glass jar of dark ruby cherry preserves with an amateur cream paper label reading 'ALMOST FRUIT — ALMOST CHEERY', set slightly off-center and using two visibly mismatched fonts within the same line of text.

Early Summer Variety

Almost Cherry

The sweet-tart signature of cherry, rendered in a form that resembles it quite closely.

Almost Cherry is a preserve of distinct character: tart enough to pair with savory dishes, sweet enough to accompany a fine dessert, and close enough to the original to raise an eyebrow at the breakfast table. It is a preserve best admired slowly, and, where possible, from a distance of no less than six feet.

(Please consult the ingredient list on the jar before consumption. We are required to mention this. We mention it warmly.)
